Satellite imagery desk · Based in France

Any satellite. Any archive. Compared before you order.

GroundImagery sources satellite imagery — archive or new tasking, optical, radar, hyperspectral or night — lays the options side by side, and delivers them ready to use. When you need more than pixels, we process them into answers.

How we present options before anything is ordered. Not a real order.

01 — Catalogue

The sensors we source from.

Commercial very high resolution, wide-swath Chinese constellations, radar that sees through cloud, hyperspectral, night imaging and the open programmes. Filter by family, resolution or how the data is obtained, then ask about any of them.

Nominal values. Actual revisit and capture windows depend on latitude, viewing angle and cloud cover; we give you a realistic window for your site before you commit.

SR is a super-resolution product derived from the 30 cm imagery, not a native resolution.

Chinese VHR scenes are supplied as L1 bundles (panchromatic + multispectral). Minimum order areas apply per constellation; we tell you up front. Drone and airborne capture is available when orbit can’t resolve the question.

02 — The desk

One request, every constellation, a clear choice.

You describe the ground and the question. We do the searching across providers and hand you a short option sheet, so you choose on resolution, timing and risk rather than on whoever answered first.

  1. Brief

Your area (KML, shapefile or a place name), the period, and the decision the imagery supports.

  2. Search

We query the archives across constellations and check tasking feasibility for your window.

  3. Compare

An option sheet: pixel size, capture date or window, cloud risk, stereo, licence and delivery, side by side.

  4. Deliver

Imagery arrives analysis-ready in your projection and format, with metadata and a short quality note.

Archive

Already captured

The fastest route: scenes that exist today, inspected for cloud and viewing angle before we propose them.

  • Search across optical and radar archives
  • Recent 50 cm wide-swath coverage
  • Historical series for change over time

New tasking

Captured for you

When the archive is too old or too cloudy, we plan a new capture over your site in your window.

  • Standard windows with a cloud-cover threshold
  • Priority and emergency tasking for sub-metre optical
  • Stereo & tri-stereo for 3D

Monitoring

Captured again

Repeat looks at the same ground, from weekly checks to yearly baselines, with consistent processing.

  • Time series & monitoring subscriptions
  • Country-scale 50 cm basemaps refreshed yearly
  • Licences sized to your users: team, group or enterprise

03 — Processing

Delivered at the level you can use.

Take the raw bundle for your own chain, or let us carry it as far as the answer. Each step is documented so your team can reproduce or audit it.

  1. L1

    Raw bundle

Panchromatic + multispectral as captured, with sensor model (RPC).

    GeoTIFF + RPC
  2. L2

    Orthorectified

Terrain-corrected and georeferenced, co-registered to your reference.

    GeoTIFF · COG
  3. L2+

    Pansharpened

Full-resolution colour, atmospherically corrected on request.

    COG
  4. L3

    Mosaic

Seamless, colour-balanced coverage over large areas.

    COG · web map
  5. A

    Analysis layers

Indices, classification, change detection, InSAR ground motion, DSM / DTM.

    GeoPackage · COG · report

Also on the bench

  • Atmospheric correction to surface reflectance
  • Co-registration of multi-sensor time series
  • SAR calibration, speckle filtering, flood extent
  • InSAR ground motion (persistent scatterers, SBAS)
  • Classification and change detection, validated against reference data
  • Delivery as GeoTIFF, COG, GeoPackage or a web map

Elevation models from stereo

Stereo source Product Grid Expected RMSE (H / V)
ZY-3 DSM / DTM 10 m · 5 m 5 m / 5 m
GF-7 DSM / DTM 3 m · 2 m 3 m / 3 m
30 cm stereo tasking DSM / DTM 1 m On request

Your own ground control points can tighten these figures; we can use them on request.

04 — Advisory & supervision

An independent check on imagery projects.

Whether we source the data or not. We help you specify what to buy, choose who delivers it, and verify that what arrives matches what was promised.

Before

Specify

  • Needs assessment & feasibility
  • Tender specifications (cahier des charges)
  • Sensor and resolution trade-offs

During

Select & steer

  • Vendor selection & contract review
  • Project management to delivery
  • Tasking follow-up and re-planning

After

Verify & transfer

  • Quality control of deliverables
  • Accuracy checks against reference data
  • Training for in-house teams

05 — Questions

The question decides the sensor.

A few requests we source for, and where we would usually start looking.

Compared first, ordered second.

Sensor-agnostic

We recommend on merit, per request. Sometimes the right answer is free open data, and we say so before you spend.

Analysis-ready

Every delivery states its processing level, expected accuracy and the limits of what the data can show.

In France, for anywhere

We work in English and French, know the French public references (IGN, Theia, Copernicus), and can host data in the EU on request.

06 — Platform In development

Regulatory evidence, produced from orbit.

We’re turning our processing chains into subscription products for companies with EU reporting obligations. Each delivery comes with a traceable, verifiable evidence file.

EUDR · Regulation (EU) 2023/1115

Forest Watch

Deforestation checks on your supply plots against the EUDR cutoff of 31 December 2020, using Sentinel-2 time series. Delivered as a report, GeoJSON and due-diligence data.

EU Taxonomy · CSRD ESRS E3

FloodSAR

All-weather flood mapping of your sites from Sentinel-1 radar, with impact reports for physical-risk disclosure and alerts after an event.

07 — Request

Tell us what you need to see.

We reply within two working days with a first view on feasibility and the options worth comparing.

What helps us search quickly

  • Your area: a place name, coordinates, or a KML / shapefile
  • The period: one date, a season, or years of history
  • The detail you need to see, or the decision it supports
  • A budget range, even a rough one
